I was a bit sceptical about the whole thing and although I do believe in the paranormal I was not expecting to really encounter anything. The team are extremely friendly, welcoming and professional and they make the whole experience enjoyable. They have a good knowledge of the history of the place which is very interesting and we felt, smelt and heard sounds (which to be honest I did not really expect). I would highly recommend going to an event, they are a great bunch of guys and I would definitely go to another venue.

My first ghost hunting event with Essex Ghost Hunters was Harwich Redoubt Fort. We got to the fort about 30 mins early, the team were very welcoming and let us take a look around the fort before anyone else got there. The team is very professional and they know what they are doing. This is great for anyone who wants to have their first ghost hunting event. I would recommend Essex Ghost Hunters to anyone who wants to experience a great and very honest paranormal investigation.

I have attended several ghost hunts with this small and professional ghost hunting team to the Ruin's of Cash's Well and Fort Horsted. These are professionally run events which have achieved some amazing results during the evening. A friendly, experienced and knowledgeable team who always make you feel welcome. A good selection of gadgets and gizmos provided for the hunts including EMF meters, heat detectors (thermometers), voice records, cameras etc. Always an entertaining evening, you never know what is going to happen next! Can't wait for my next one to The Secret Nuclear Bunker!

I have been to 2 event now, and I can only praise Essex Ghost Hunters. All of the staff members are friendly and well versed in knowledge of paranormal activities. I would like to tell you about the Cash's Well event I attended recently, I'm old to the paranormal scene having been doing it some years now, but we attended Cash's well with the Essex Ghost Hunters, we got there the first time in the lashing rain but as luck would have it, it stopped as soon as we set off, it was cold! Wet! And muddy! But the guys were very welcoming and accommodating having never met us before, we walked into the woods and I felt like I'd known the team all my life, a very welcoming, professional bunch of guys! Very knowledgable about their subject area and answered all mine and our questions with professionalism and gusto! They made an night which just happened to be a bloody eventful one with non stop activity the whole night worth while! I've returned to the same location with the team since then and again, we came away a happy group of people :) highly recommendable.
