Simon’s observations of the St Margarets church visit. Date 16th March 2012.These are my personal thoughts and findings of the visit, I believe this was one of our most active visits so far on parallel with our Borley visits. On arrival a lovely clear night and Russell thought he saw a shadow move in front of the car. Within twenty minutes a mist had rolled in and remained with us for the duration of the visit. As soon as I entered the church grounds I had feeling of being watched and know I was being followed throughout the visit. I heard noises and chains rattling, and whistling during the evening. I was not surprised when we heard child like noises when we replayed the voice recorder the following day. Nearing the end of the visit I heard a very strange noise which made me feel…

This is to get the feel of the place and to look at the surrounding areas so we are familiar of the landmarks around the site.So there was nothing unusual on this day we took the EMF reader and walked around the site as we were speaking to some people in the grounds the EMF reader kept picking up and going off. We tried to explain this but thought it may have been our mobile phone so we all decided to switch off and the EMF reader returned to normal so we thought this was our mobile phones. As we walked around the site the EMF reader again…

This was our first visit to St Nicholas Church and we had no reports of paranormal activity. This was our first time we’ve used all the equipment, but unfortunately the EVP recorder failed to work.On approach to the church, Russell felt he was being watched and followed. Around the side of the church tapping noises were heard; some were caught on the video. At the rear of the church various taps and noises were heard and at one point Simon thought he could hear footsteps in the church.A good night and well worth another visit in the warmer weather. Visit concluded at 1:30am. Please check out the video, as noises and shadows can be seen. For more of our videos check out

The site is not easy to access you have to park in the road called Brackendale Avenue and then it is a five minute walk uphill through a wooded area. Conditions: Strong wind but a clear night. There is a lot of noise from the A13 main road. Once you reach the tower there are a few graves surrounding the tower. The Team walked around the tower and asked if anything was present in the tower to make a noise or show itself. Although nothing happened a strong kind of musty strange smell was evident and the whole team smelt this and it was getting stronger. Simon at one point got very cold but this visit was a little disappointing and nothing to report. The Team will return to this site later in the year.If anybody has any sightings or stories to tell please contact us with your findings.
