Simon and I visited this site a few weeks ago and we both had good and bad feelings. After spending a few hours there we decided to bring the team back for a night time visit.As we approached the site the whole team was in good spirits which is always good for ghost hunting. Simon was straightaway drawn to the woods to the side of the church, and I really had a bad feeling about this. I very much felt like we should not be there and a feeling that someone or something did not want us to be there. Simon was getting goaded to go in, so we did and just like I felt outside the presence there wanted to harm us. We decided to leave the woods and move on and this presence stayed with us for a bit as we walked along the beach wall. After a few forceful words I managed to keep it in woods.

I was really looking forward to the barn visit. On arrival myself and Russell remained outside the barn while the team were given the history of the barn. Whilst waiting I picked up on a spirit energy of a little girl in the nearby golf course. But as I was unable to gain access I had to ask the spirit to step back.Once inside the barn Russell picked up a presence in the corner of the barn. The presence was up high. I also picked up on this later in the evening and also the presence of a girl. During the evening on our call outs, stones were thrown and tappings were caught on camera. Ross and I saw a woman walk across the barn. At the end of the evening a loud bang was heard at the end of the barn.

I was really looking forward to do this visit, and it came as a shock that we were able to do it at very last minute, when we were all available. Me, Russ and Simon had been here before, but didn’t carry out a full investigation as Adam wasn’t with us. I was glad Adam was coming along this time, as I wouldn’t be the only one able to explore the whole site.After getting to the main part of the battery, I was a little on edge as we didn’t know who or what was in the tunnels, but no-fear Ad soon made me not so worried. As we normally do we visit the church in daylight first and my thoughts was how nice the church looked and the surroundings and how different it looked as it was right next to the river. I thought that maybe people come here by boat back in the day.As we returned in the evening, I didn’t feel uneasy at all, as I have felt like at previous sites that we have visited. When walking around the church, I didn’t feel or see anything, but Simon and Russ began to communicate with the other side. We began to walk to all different parts of the church the team decided to use the dowsing rods. The sprit advised, by moving the dowsing rods, to move to the other graveyard, so we did. When the team were using the rods, I was sceptical, as I did not know if it was Russ or the sprit moving to rods!
